CEO: Lenta to launch at least 31 stores in Russia in 2016
MOSCOW, Aug 27 (PRIME) -- Retailer Lenta will open at least 31 stores in Russia in 2016, CEO Jan Dunning told PRIME Thursday.
He said that capital expenditures will increase in 2015 so that Lenta could spend more money on development. The goal is to launch at least as many outlets in 2016 as in 2014.
“The company has no plans to change its commercial philosophy or consumer focus” in spite of a strong devaluation of the national currency, Dunning said. Lenta is working hard on its output and pricing, he said.
